Expanko Cork
Cork flooring …that’s right cork, it’s been around since 300 BC, but cork flooring really started in the early 19th century. A renewable resource, cork bark is harvested every nine years from trees. The cork is harvested, granulized, and baked before being made into a flooring product. The Patton Group represents Expanko, the leader in commercial homogeneous cork flooring with traditional 12″ x 12″ or 24″ x 24″ cork tiles. Also to be considered is Vallarex, a 12″ x 36″ engineered cork tile for floating installations.
